Next Opel Astra to stay in Rüsselsheim

Opel has confirmed the location for the next generation.

The next Astra will be designed, developed and built in Rüsselsheim, Opel announced on 8 June. It is set to use Stellantis’ new STLA ONE platform.

The announcement forms part of a programme involving more than one billion euros of total investment in Germany by 2030.
