Volkswagen plans around 50,000 additional job cuts
The indirect workforce reductions would be split roughly equally between Germany and abroad.
The Zukunftsplan 2030 approved on 3 September envisages around 50,000 additional cuts in indirect roles, beyond programmes agreed in 2024 and 2025.
Volkswagen says roughly half would be in Germany. Its brands and companies must work out implementation with employee representatives.
